Medial Meniscal Lesions

Imaging is performed predominantly in coronal and sagittal orientations or using 3D acquisition with radial reconstruction perpendicular to the meniscal segment under investigation. The slice thickness should not exceed 3 mm. Degenerative changes and meniscal tears are best evaluated using T1- and T2-weighted sequences as well as fat suppression.
