Multi-melting Behaviors of Nano-silica/MC Nylon6 In-situ Composite via DSC

Multi-melting behaviors of nano-silica/MC nylon6 in-situ composites were investigated by DSC.Results showed that melting curves of composites appeared in three peaks,represented the melting of small crystals,main crystals and crystals from re-crystallization and re-organization of imperfect ones,respectively.The increasing of nano-silica content improved the re-crystallization and re-organization degree when crystallization was carried out under higher temperature.Besides,when crystallization was carried out under lower temperature,a small quantity of nano-silica reduced re-crystallization and re-organization degree,and reversed phenomena appeared when higher content of nano-silica was introduced.
