Stellarator investigations at the Plasma Physics Laboratory of the General Physics Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR

The main theoretical and experimental results obtained at the Plasma Physics Laboratory of the General Physics Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR during the period from 1960 to 1984 are briefly surveyed.
