The invention relates to an anti-pollution-flashover superhydrophobic paint, and a preparation method and application thereof, belonging to the field of paints. The preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) adding nano silicon dioxide particles into a polydimethylsiloxane-containing organic solvent until the nano silicon dioxide particles are uniformly dispersed, and volatilizing the organic solvent to obtain low-surface-energy nano silicon dioxide particles; and (2) adding the low-surface-energy nano silicon dioxide particles prepared in the step (1) and an adhesive into an organic solvent, and stirring to obtain the anti-pollution-flashover superhydrophobic paint. The method has the advantages of simple technical process, low facility requests, wide raw material sources and low cost. The prepared anti-pollution-flashover superhydrophobic paint has the advantages of excellent hydrophobicity, high aging resistance, favorable self-repair effect, high pollution flashover voltage and the like, and is used for external insulation protection of transmission equipment and transformer equipment in heavy-smog regions.
