Effects of quinclorac on the germination of seed and primary seedling growth of flue-cured tobacco.

2010
Residual soil quinclorac effects on tobacco yield and quality significant. In order to provide a theoretical basis of reduce quinclorac on the hazards of tobacco seeds and seedlings, different concentrations of quinclorac were treated on tobacco seed soaking and training, the seed germination and physiological indicators were measured after a certain period of time. The results showed that, with the quinolinic concentration increasing, the seed germination energy, germination index and vigor index decreased significantly.However,flue-cured tobacco seed germination rate was not obvious influenced. The seedling height and root length, the fresh weight and dry weight were reduced, the soluble protein content were decreased. The POD activity and the content of MDA increased, and the SOD activity decreased.
