Gross Anatomy of the Nervous System

2019
The gross-anatomical built-up of the nervous system is given based on its major subdivision into telencephalon (with various lobes), limbic system (with hippocampus), basal ganglia, white matter, diencephalon (with thalamus and hypothalamus), mesencephalon, pons, medulla oblongata, cerebellum, spinal cord, and pituitary gland. A set of 3D reconstructions of the brain and cutplanes is provided to allow for testing the acquired knowledge about the topographical arrangements of the various brain structures.
