Report of Two Cases Where Sleep Related Eating Behavior Occurred With the Extended-Release Formulation but Not the Immediate-Release Formulation of a Sedative-Hypnotic Agent

2008
We report two cases in which amnestic sleep related eating disorder (SRED) occurred with extended-release zolpidem but not with the immediate-release formulation. These cases illustrate how even relatively small differences such as formulation can affect the likelihood of experiencing such events. Citation: Chiang A; Krystal A.
