BEHAVIOR OF T3, T4, TSH AND ACID LIPASE(AL) ACTIVITY IN THYROIDECTOMIZED RATS TREATED WITH T3 AND T4

1988
Studies have shown a differeritial sensitivity of various biological systems to T3 and T4; it has therefore been questioned whether TSH supppression truly reflects euthyroidism at the periphery. To explore this differential sensitivity, the acute effects of graded doses of T3 and T4 on TSH suppression and hepatic AL activity were determined in hypothyroid rats.
