Interrelated effects of temperature and container on longevity of Toona ciliata M. Roem seed.

Keeping in view low seed longevity, seed storage studies were carried out in Toona ciliata . Seeds were stored in four different containers kept at three different temperatures for one year. It was found that polythene bag seeds kept at 0°C temperature maintained 93 per cent germination after one year in storage.
