Empirical Validation Towards Improved Semantic Indexing Based Text Classification Using Deep Learning

Deep Learning techniques are implemented in the various applications of data analytics, information retrieval and natural language processing. Revolution in the field of textual data has made the availability of online information more automated. Deep learning has been emerged as a powerful machine learning technology in all the research fields. Task of automatic classification of the data into categories is the concern of several applications that includes automated indexing of articles, patent directories, filteration of spams and many more. Using deep learning frameworks, Task of text classification can be assisted for better results in a cost effective manner. In this paper, we provide an experimentation of the various conventional as well as deep learning based semantic indexing approaches for text classification.
