Possibility of the primary cosmic‐ray identification using emulsion chamber and air shower detector (OMEGA experiment)

2008
Monte‐Carlo simulation and analytical calculation, using UA5 algorithm as nuclear collision model, of the high energy atmospheric hadrons and gamma‐ray families produced by cosmic ray particles together with associated air shower are present in this work. The main objective is to show the possibility of the primary cosmic ray identification using hybrid detector, emulsion chamber in the central part of the extensive air shower array (OMEGA experiment). Our results show that the correlation between direct measurable quantities in emulsion chamber and associated air shower size are sensitives to the primary cosmic ray composition.
