Recording timber-framed buildings: an illustrated glossary

An illustrated glossary of terms relating to timber-framed buildings, in order to describe and understand them better. The glossary has a two-fold purpose: first by classifying the most suitable term, distinguishing the obsolete from the more familiar term; and second, by arranging the drawings in groups according to the types of truss or part of the building, so that they can be used on-site to facilitate the making of timbers.
