Clinical Observation of Chemotherapy and Chinese Medicine for Postoperative Stomach Cancer in 149 Cases

To observe the clinical effects of chemotherapy and Chinese medicine in the treatment of postoperative stomach cancer,149 cases(treatment group)were treated with chemotherapy and Chinese medicine,"Health Supporting and Pathogen Removing Decoction",and another 92 cases(control group)just with chemotherapy.Chemotherapy was given for 1 year and Chinese medicine for 2 years.Results showed that,in treatment group,the life quality was better,toxic and adverse reaction was less,and 5 year survival rate was higher in comparison with control group(50 34% in treatment group and 39 13% in control group).It is revealed that chemotherapy plus Chinese medicine has better effects than simple chemotherapy.
