Enuresis: psychopathology, sleep stage, and drug response.

In a study designed to test the association between enuretic children and psychiatric disturbance, the results did not support the premise of different sleep profiles of enuresis in relation to pathologic behavioral patterns. a comparison of the efficacy of various drug therapies was also undertaken, and imipramine was found to be an effective alternative for short-term management of children, who do not respond to the bell and pad conditioning method.
