Evaluation of fungicides for the control of kikuyu yellows (Verrucalvus flavofaciens) [soil-borne fungus of lawn and pasture]. [Technical note]

On agar plates, several chemicals inhibited the fungus. In glasshouse pots, only triadimefon controlled the disease -a surprising result for an oomycete. In a field trial on a home lawn, however, triadimefon was ineffective. Chemical control of the disease may be impracticable.
