Double layer tablets comprising oxycodone and promethazine

A bilayer tablet for use in treating pain comprising an immediate release layer and a layer controlled release layer containing immediate release promethazine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as the only pharmaceutically active agent and the layer containing controlled release oxycodone or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as the only pharmaceutically active agent.
