Determination of control sensor position in a clapper type electromagnet using FEM

3D model of a clapper type electromagnet is built and its magnetic field is analyzed using the finite element method and MAGNET software. Distribution of the magnetic flux density is obtained and on its basis the position of two-axis magnetic field sensor for electromagnet control is proposed.
