Movement of passenger conveyor handrail

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability of a handrail for a passenger conveyor. SOLUTION: This moving handrail for a passenger conveyor is formed into an annular shape by connecting both ends of a straight belt integrally formed with single layer or multiple layers of thermoplastic elastomer 2 and 3 having a C-shape cross section, a belt-like metal tensile body 5 made of metal and provided along the longitudinal direction of the thermoplastic elastomer, and a canvas 4 bonded to the inside the thermoplastic elastomer. Each of connection parts is arranged so that a bonding part of the metal tensile bodies 5A and 5B to each other and a connection part of the canvases 4A and 4B connected to each other in both ends thereof through a filler cloth 6 are not overlapped with each other in the thickness direction, and the metal tensile body after bonding is coated with the thermoplastic elastomer.
