STUDI KASUS TERJADINYA KETUBAN PECAH DINI PADA IBU HAMIL DI RSU HAJI MEDAN TAHUN 2018

Premature rupture of amniotic fluid before the onset of labor occurs in approximately 7 to 12% of pregnancies, most commonly the membranes rupture at or near the time of labor. The purpose of this study was to determine a case study of premature rupture of membranes in pregnant women at RSU Haji Medan in 2018. This type of research is descriptive and cross sectional design, using secondary data taken from medical records. The population in the study was 35 cases of early rupture of membranes in RSU Haji Medan in 2018. The sampling method was total sampling. From the results of this study, there were 35 cases of premature rupture of membranes at the Medan Hajj General Hospital in 2018. There were 24 cases of premature rupture of membranes based on maternal age 20-35 years (68.58%). Based on the highest parity was multiparous as many as 22 cases (62.85%). Based on the highest gestational age was <37 weeks as many as 25 cases (71.43%). Based on the causative factor the highest was fetal location abnormalities in 15 cases (42.86%). And based on the highest treatment was obstetric treatment as many as 28 cases (80%). Based on the signs and symptoms the highest was vaginal spotting in 20 cases (57.15%). After conducting research on case studies of premature rupture of membranes in pregnant women at RSU Haji Medan, it is hoped that health workers will improve the quality of service. And for pregnant women to regularly check their pregnancy to health places so that there is no risk to the mother and the fetus, namely, maternal death and fetal death.
