The preparation method comprises the following steps: in parts by weight, performing melt blending on 50-95 parts of cellulose acetate, 5-50 parts of polybutylene succinate and 1-30 parts of an additive at 160-190 DEG C for 3-5 minutes to obtain a melt, wherein cellulose acetate is cellulose monoacetate, cellulose diacetate or cellulose triacetate, and the additive includes a foamer; and injecting the obtained melt into a mould, forming, and foaming at 200-230 DEG C for 1-10 minutes to obtain the biodegradable filter tip adsorption bar. The adsorption bar prepared with the method adopts a foamed porous structure and has a very good interception effect for smoke; the prepared adsorption bar is added into a filter tip to prepare a cigarette, so that the content of tar in the smoke is reduced by 16-30%; and therefore, the adsorption bar has good market application prospects.
