Effects of soil moisture on the incidence of cabbages clubroot

2004
Soil moisture effect on the incidence of cabbage clubroot was tested in this study. The results indicated that the effects of soil moisture on the incidence of Plasmodiophora brassicae was significant. When the soil moisture was 40 %,50 %,60 %,70 %,respectively, the rate of infected plants was 40.2 %,61.2 %,55.2 %,46.8 % and the disease indices was 10.5,28.6,26.9,19.8,correspondingly.The mathematical models of relationships between the soil moisture and the rate of infected plants was y=-4.9583x~2+5.4744x-0.9526,R~2=0.9441 and the mathematical models of relationships between soil moisture and disease index was:y=-2.525x~2+2.7454x-0.5116,R~2=0.7526.
