Abgasemissionsmessungen an gewerblichen und industriellen Holzfeuerungen im Geltungsbereich der 1. BlmSchV

1996
In the time of the heating period of 1993/1994, the course of the emitted components CO, hydrocarbons, NO x , Co 2 , and O 2 were measured through several processes of combustion in 26 wood firings which had been chosen to represent this commercial sector of the Land of Baden-Wuerttemberg with regard to fuel and type of construction. Parallel measurements integrated the concentrations of polychlorinated dioxines and furans (PCDD/PCDF), as well as particles and isolated hydrocarbons at defined states of operation. The mean CO concentrations, typical for the combustion quality, through several combustions in manually charged firings reached between 1500 mg/m 3 and 11 800 mg/m 3 , and the CO concentrations in automatically charged systems were between 130 mg/m 3 and 6450 mg/m 3 . The particle concentrations ranged from 34 mg/m 3 to 443 mg/m 3 . The concentrations of PCDD and PCDF mostly remained below 0.1 ngTE/m 3 given that only untreated wood was combusted. PCDD/PCDF concentrations of systems, where it could not be excluded that wood treated with wood preservatives had been used, amounted to 10 ngTE/m 3 and more.
