Preliminary Observation of Dissolution of Cordal Fiber by Urokinase

Objective To evaluate the proper concentration of urokinase and time to dissolve cordal fiber texture by observing the dissolution of cordal fiber texture in different concentrations of urokinase solutions.Methods Cordal fiber texture obtained from thoracoscope was incubated with 0,500,1 000,2 000,4 000,6 000,8 000,10 000U.mL-1 urokinase,respectively.Then,the dissolution of cordal fiber texture was observed in 3 h.Results Using the same time quantum and different concentrations of urokinase,there was significant difference in dissolution between 0 U.mL-1 and the rest concentrations such as 500,1 000,2 000,4 000,6 000,8 000 and 10 000 U.mL-1(P0.05) when the time quantum was greater or equal to 1.5 h.However,there was no statistic significance among the concentions besides 0 U.mL-1(P0.05).Using the same concentration but different time quantums,there was no statistic significance between 0 U.mL-1 and 6 000 U.mL-1 urokinase.When the concentrtions reach to 500,1 000,2 000,4 000,6 000,8 000,10 000 U.mL-1,there was no statistic significance among the time quantums a when the time quantum was greater or equal to 1.5 h,while within 1.5 h,the difference was significant.Conclusion The proper concentartion of urokinase solution dissolving cordal fiber texture is 500 U.mL-1,and the proper time is 1.5 h.
