The Aspirin-liked Effect Caused by Chinese Traditional Manipulation

2011
Objective:To investigate the aspirin-liked effect caused by Chinese Traditional Manipulation. Methods 30 patients catched cold were divided into 3 groups randomly, the control group, the Chinese Traditional Manipulation group and the aspirin group,10 cases each group.2 ml blood was taken for every patient, then,a rest was taken for every patient in the control group.Chinese Traditional Manipulation was taken for the patients in the Chinese Traditional Manipulation group for 15 min;a piece of aspirin(0.5g) was taken for every patient in the aspirin group.2 ml blood was taken for every patient after treatment.Result The remission rate of headache was 90%,70% and 0% in the Chinese Traditional Manipulation group, the aspirin group and the control group respectively, after treatment. The remission rate of muscular soreness was 100%,80% and 0% respectively. The remission rate of neck was 100%,50% and 0% respectively.Leucocytes count declined to 18.12×109/L from 24.33×109/L,14.38×109/L from 21.91×109/L and 19.67×109/L from 19.72×109/L in the Chinese Traditional Manipulation group, the aspirin group and the control group respectively.Lymphocyte count ascended to 0.69×109/L from 0.53×109/L and 0.53×109/L from 0.48×109/L in the Chinese Traditional Manipulation group and the aspirin group respectively, but declined to 0.40×109/L from 0.42×109/L in control group.Red-cell count declined to 7.32×1012/L from 6.12×1012/L and 6.01×1012/L from 6.11×1012/L in the Chinese Traditional Manipulation group and the aspirin group respectively, but increased to 5.58×1012/L from 5.51×1012/L in control group. The average temperature declined to 37.84 from 38.33℃ and 38.03℃ from 38.12℃ in the aspirin group and the control group respectively, but declined to 38.61℃ from 38.57℃ in the Chinese Traditional Manipulation group. Conclusion The passage illustrates that the Chinese Traditional Manipulation acts as aspirin, taking effect of antipyretic and analgesic, diminishing inflammation and preventing thrombosis.
