The present invention relates to a metal oxide thin film substrate for an organic light emitting device (OLED) and a method for manufacturing the same and, more specifically, to a metal oxide thin film substrate for an OLED which has an excellent light extraction efficiency and can be easily manufactured with a low cost; and a method for manufacturing the same. To achieve this, the present invention provides the metal oxide thin film substrate for the OLED which comprises: a base substrate; and a metal oxide thin film which is formed on the base substrate and is consisted of two or more metal oxide mixtures having different refractive index, and the method for manufacturing the same.
