Diagnostic value of echocardiography in double-outlet right ventricle

Objective To investigate the value of echocardiography in the diagnosis of double-outlet right ventricle.Methods Echocardiograms of 32 patients with suspected double-outlet right ventricle were retrospectively analyzed and the findings were compared with the operation results.Results Among the 32 cases,27 cases were diagnosed as atrioventricular concordant(one of these cases was criss-cross heart),5 cases were diagnosed as atrioventricular discordant.Twenty-two cases underwent operation,one case was misdiagnosed,the diagnose accordance rate of echocardiography was 95.6%.Conclusion CDFI is a accurate,convenient and non-invasive method in the diagnosis of double-outlet right ventricle,and it can make accurate diagnosis for pathologic anatomy and hemodynamics.
