论尤多拉•威尔蒂《熟路》中美国南方黑人历史身份的再现

2010
The racial sensitivity and political dimension in Eudora Welty's works used to be neglected. The textual analysis of her early short story A Worn Path can correct such misreading by revealing its racial significance and political implications. Borrowing from the slave narrative tradition, Welty allegorically reproduces African Americans' history of racial oppression and reveals their real status as second-hand citizens after the abolition.
