Chronic Rhinosinusitis in Adults

Chronic rhinosinusitis is one of the common conditions encountered worldwide by the primary health care physicians and secondary and tertiary care otolaryngologists with varied presentations; many guidelines have been published in the literature over the past three decades regarding its management. The main objective of this chapter is to provide updated evidence-based information for management of CRS in adults. In this chapter, we have discussed the updated definition, classification pathophysiology, and management options of Adult CRS. We have performed a literature review and summarized grade of recommendations for various treatment modalities.
