Последствия удаления головки лучевой кости

2014
This article considers the problem faced by patients after the removal of the radial head bone. The main contents of the research is the analysis of long-term results after the surgery on removal of the radial head bone. It is proven that the resection of the radial head bone in most cases impairs the function of the elbow and wrist joints. The results of the operation, when it performed in the first hours after the injury, are the most favorable. The research shows that there is no connection between the clinical functions and the period of immobilization. The figures show that after the surgery 35.4% of the patients didn''t feel pain in the elbow joint, 54.8% of the patients had pain in the elbow joint, when the arm lifted some weight. 12.9% of the patients had signs of instability in the elbow joint. In recent years, the progression of surgical techniques has allowed many patients with fractures of the radial head bone to successfully have an open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF) by miniplates and mini screws.
