A quantum cascade laser-based sensor for measurement of the stable isotopomers of carbon dioxide

We describe the development of a quantum cascade laser-based absorption spectrometer for measurement of the major stable isotopes of CO2 in the natural atmosphere. We present demonstration measurements of 12CO2 and 13CO2 at 4.3 µm.
