RF solderless vertical interconnection for 3D module integration

This contribution presents the design and fabrication of a RF solderless vertical interconnection. The test vehicle exploits the spring contact technology to interface two RF multilayer circuit boards. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of such approach for the development of broadband (DC-18GHz) RF interconnections for 3D module integration.
