Process for the stabilization of polyvinylpyrrolidones

Process for the stabilization of polyvinylpyrrolidones, characterized in that the polyvinylpyrrolidones are treated with sulfur dioxide, sulfurous acid or alkali metal sulfites and then with radial scavenger and the solutions thus treated are converted by drying into the pulverulent polyvinylpyrrolidones.
