Surgical management of a labially placed permanent maxillary central incisor after supernumerary tooth extraction: report of a case.
1997
: A case of a 12-year old-boy having a chief complaint of labially placed maxillary central incisor is presented. Radiographic evaluation revealed the presence of a supernumerary tooth impeding the eruption of the left permanent central incisor. The mesiodens was surgically removed and the permanent central incisor was positioned and splinted into proper alignment.
