Factores que influyen en el profesional de enfermería de una institución de tercer nivel para desarrollar investigación

espanolObjetivo: Conocer los factores que influyen en el personal de enfermeria para desarrollar investigacion. Metodologia: Estudio correlacional, prospectivo y transversal. Muestra probabilistica (n=185) incluyo profesionales de enfermeria. Datos recolectados con cuestionario: 41 items distribuidos en cinco dominios; respuesta tipo Likert. Analisis con estadistica descriptiva y pruebas de Pearson y Spearman. Resultados: 31.9% asistio de 1-2 cursos y 37.2% publico 1-3 articulos. 89.2% necesita mucho tiempo para investigar; 52.5% tiene los conocimientos; 72.4% esta capacitada para inves- tigar. La asistencia a cursos de investigacion se relaciona con la edad (r=-0.216, p=0.003) y grado academico (rs=0.348, p=0.000). La organizacion de la vida personal se asocia con numero de investigaciones (r=-0.190, p=0.01) y asistencia a cursos de investigacion (r=-0.366, p=0.003); el desarrollo profesional se asocia mas con motivacion (r=0.487, p=0.000). Conclusion: El desarrollo profesional y la motivacion son los principales factores para investigar, sin embargo la organizacion de la vida personal la dificulta. EnglishObjective: To know the factors that influence nurses to undertake research. Methodology: Correlational, prospective and crosssectional study. The probability sample (n = 185) included only nursing professionals. Data were collected with 41-item Likert-type response questionnaire. The analysis was performed with descriptive statistics and evidence of association. Results: 1-3 articles published 37.2%; the 89.2% refers to need too much time to investigate; a 52.5% considered to have sufficient research knowledge; and 72.4% are trained to investigate. Research courses attendance is related to age (r =-0.216, p = .003) and academic degree (rs = 0.348, p = 0.000). Organization of an appropriate personal life is associated with greater number of investigations (r =-0.190, p = 0.01) and assistance to research courses (r =-0.366, p = 0.003); professional development is more related to the motivations (r= 0.487, p = 0.000). Conclusion: Professional development and motivation are the main factors to do research. However, the organization of personal life makes it more difficult.
