The invention discloses a bridge monitoring system based on a BIM. The bridge monitoring system comprises a bridge cooperative management platform, communication devices, a terminal device, a computer, a display device and intelligent mechanical equipment. The terminal device is connected with the bridge cooperative management platform through the communication device. The bridge cooperative management platform performs information interaction with the terminal device. The bridge cooperative management platform is connected with the computer which is connected with the display device. The intelligent mechanical equipment is connected with the bridge cooperative management platform through the communication device. The beneficial effects of the bridge monitoring system based on the BIM are that three stages of bridge design, construction and operation and maintenance are integrated together with the BIM technology acting as the core and the internet, internet of things, mobile internet, big data and cloud computing information technologies acting as the means so that information sharing can be realized; facing multiple participating parties and multiple stages, an information platform is provided for the BIM application of all the stages and data exchange of all the participating parties so that lossless transferring and sharing of information of all parties can be realized; and the technical basis is provided for subsequent design, construction and operation and maintenance of the bridge project.
