A femoral cut (1) for fitting a total knee prosthesis of recovery in bone surgery, said cutting device (1) having centering means (10) at the distal end of the femur and means for cutting the distal part of the os.Selon the invention, the cutting means are integral with a positioning member (20) movably mounted in displacement relative to the alignment means (10), at least one part of the positioning member (20) having an external shape adapted to cooperate by sliding with a tibial component implanted in the tibia, whatever the relative position of said positioning member (20) relative to said tibial component during the course of a bender / extension.Application to the field of total knee arthroplasty.
