Estudio de la presión intraocular preoperatoria, intraoperatoria y postoperatoria en el enfermo con desprendimiento de retina
1991
We study the intraocular pressure (I.O.P.)
in 149 retinal detachments (R.D.) rhegmatogenous and traumatics, we found that: a) in
a group of normal eyes, the mean of I.O.P.s
preoperatives is equal to 17,14 mmHg., intraoperatives to 17,57 and postoperatives to 17,4
mmHg.; b) in a second group of eyes with R.o.,
the mean of I.O.P.s preoperatives is equal to
13,12 mmHg., intraoperatives to 21 ,93 mmHg.
and postoperatives (15 days later) to 15,04.
Our results were: 1) The preoperative I.O.P.
in the group of eyes with R.D. is significantly
lower than that one of normal eyes; 2) the
mean postoperative I.O.P. for reattached or
detached eyes follow low at least 15 days, and
3) the eyes that showing an intraoperative
I.O.P.s from 11 to 36 mmHg., found significantly more reattachments that those with hipotony or hipertony.
