Epitope Mapping of Amyloid-A Protein Using Monoclonal Antibodies
1991
In order to identify the fine-specificity of monoclonal antibodies (mc8, mc12, mc20, mc29) against amyloid A, which were shown before to bind to both, the isolated AA and the AA-type amyloid fibrils in tissue sections, we employed synthetic peptides covering the entire length of AA as well as CNBr polypeptides. The results show, that the monoclonals bind to different epitopes.
