Methylarsin-und methylarsiniden-metallcarbonyle

Abstract The complexes MeAsH 2 · M(CO) n with M(CO) n  Cr(CO) 5 , W(CO) 5 , Fe(CO) 4 , Fe(CO) (NO) 2 , Co(CO) 2 NO, and Ni(CO) 3 are so unstable that only MeAsH 2 · W(CO) 5 could be isolated in pure state. They decompose with loss of CO and H 2 to form oligomeric compounds of low solubility. From MeAsH 2 · Fe(CO) 4 the cubane-like oligomer [MeAsFe(CO) 3 ] 4 is isolated and identified by crystal structure analysis. MeAsH 2 · Fe(CO) 4 and Co 2 (CO) 8 or C 3 H 5 Co(CO) 3 formed a methyl-arsinidene cluster MeAsFeCo 2 (CO) 9 .
