Design and application of falls risk factors assessment scale for inpatient

Objective To assess falls risk factors among inpatients and take appropriate measures to reduce and avoid the occurrence of falls. Method Falls risk factors assessment scale was designed and applied to assess 427 patients in 4 Internal Medicine Department. Result Through the implementation of assess- ment scale,no case developed a fall.(Conclusions Prevention measuers are more specific and personalized by application of falls risk factors assessment scale. It is helpful to prevent inpatients from falls.
