Dyestuff discharges to water from different industries like leather, dyes manufacturing and organic materials have negative effect to human health and his environment. Researchers used different techniques to remove dyes from water like chemical oxidation, membrane separation, coagulation /flocculation, and ion exchange. One of the best and cost effective techniques is the adsorption. In our research, vanadium pentoxide (V2O5) was used as nanoadsorbent material for removal of methylene blue (MB) from water. V2O5 nanoparticles were prepared using of NH4VO5 as parent material and suitable surfactant was used. V2O5 nanoparticles were annealed at 450 °C. V2O5 nanoparticles was characterized using different techniques. X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopic (SEM) techniques were used to study the surface chemistry of the nano particles. Atomic force microscopic (AFM), thermal gravimetric (TG) methods recognized the decomposition steps and nanosize of the prepared nanoadsorbent. Fourier transform spectrometry (FTIR) was used to investigate the structure of the nano-materials. V2O5 nanoadsorbents were used for MB removal from water. The adsorption procedures for MB removal from water using V2O5 have been done using the following conditions: shaking rate 250 rpm, reaction time 0 to 60 min, and MB concentration 2 mg/litter, at 25 °C. UV/Visible spectrophotometer was used to study the removal efficiency of methylene blue from water. V2O5 annealed at 450 °C exhibited the highest removal efficiency, 91 % after 40 min contact time as compared with V2O5 nanoparticles as prepared.

A vanadium-pentoxid nanoreszecskek alkalmazhatosagat vizsgaltak a szerzők metilen-kek modell vegyulet alkalmazasaval. A vanadium-pentoxid nanoreszecskek NH4VO5 felhasznalasaval keszultek. A nanoreszecskek vizsgalata korszerű feluletvizsgalati modszerekkel tortent, FTIT, TG-DTG, XRD, AFM, SEM alkalmazasaval. A metilen-kek festekanyag eltavolitasat vizes oldatbol UV-Vis. technikaval kovettek a szerzők. Megallapithato, hogy a 450 °C hőmersekleten előkezelt vanadium-pentoxid nanoreszecskek előnyosen alkalmazhatok a valasztott technologiai parameterek mellett a szennyezőanyag eltavolitasara.
