All-Optical Contention Resolution with TTL-Aware Selective 3R Regeneration in Optical-Label Switching Router Networks

This paper experimentally demonstrates error-free all-optical contention resolution of asynchronous, variable-length, and mix-data rate packets in optical-label-switching router networks. Time-to-live information triggers selective 3R regeneration in the router.
