COMPARISONS OF COUPLED VSIE AND NONCOUPLED VSIE FORMULATIONS

Coupled volume-surface integral equation (CVSIE) and non-coupled volume-surface integral equation (NCVSIE) are compared in this paper. For scattering problems, results with similar accuracy are given. For the radiation problems, different impedance behaviors are arrived using the two approaches, by comparing the numerical results to the results from measurement or reference papers. The CVSIE approach has better performances in the input impedance calculation.
