The invention discloses a high-performance zinc-silver battery. An anode of the zinc-silver battery comprises 70-75% of zinc oxide powder and 25-30% of zinc powder by mass. Through study, the anode comprises 88.2-93.1% of zinc oxide powder, 4.9-9.8% of zinc powder and about 2% of additives. By adopting the anode composition, the stability of the output voltage when variable current works is improved by 14-18%, the discharge capacity of the battery is increased by more than or equal to 10% and the specific energy of the battery is improved by more than or equal to 10%.
