O ensino da Sistematização da Assistência na perspectiva de professores e alunos

2011
Descriptive research aimed to identify the perception of teachers and students of a nursing graduation course in southern of Brazil about teaching Nursing Care Systematization (NCS). Data collection occurred between March and August 2008 and involved 29 subjects: 10 teachers and 19 students responded to open and closed questions grouped according to their similarity. Data analysis led to the discussion of the following categories: knowledge about NCS; facilities and difficulties in NCS teaching; suggestions for the process. The use of this system in daily practice gives scientific support to the profession; however, there are dichotomies in NCS teaching. Insufficient knowledge of NCS becomes a barrier to its implantation in health institutions, and to the adhesion and execution of its methodology. NCS offers social acknowledgment and professional visibility to nursing. Descriptors: Nursing education; Nursing process; Teaching.
