Comparação do período do dia na execução do exercício combinado na percepção subjetiva de esforço em jovens atletas de Jiu-Jtsu

2019
Objective: Compare the rating of perceived exertion (RPE) at different times of day (morning and afternoon) in the combined exercise in young athletes of jiu-jitsu. Methods. The sample consisted of nine practitioners of jiu-jitsu male (22 ± 3.68anos; 73.35 ± 9.7kg; 178 ± 0.07cm). Evaluate aerobic fitness (VO2max and anaerobic threshold indirect-LA) and strength (12 maximum-RM's repetitions), participated on different days of two experimental sessions in joint exercises (strength + aerobic) at different times of day. After being evaluated for The sessions had the same duration and intensity, and aerobic exercise 15min to 90% LA and strength exercise in the form of 15min circuit to 90% of 12 RM's with 12 repetitions in six exercises. The RPE during aerobic exercise (Borg 6-20) was measured at 5, 10 and 15 minutes and the OMNI-RES scale (0-10) for the exercise of force was measured at the end of each series of each session. Results. The RPE on the Borg scale (6-20) was higher in sessions in the afternoon compared to the morning sessions at times 10 minutes (p <0.047), 15 minutes (p <0.016) and the mean of the measurements (p <0.021). The PSE in the range of omin-RES (0-10) showed only difference between the sessions, watching a greater perception in the exercises performed in the afternoon compared to the morning sessions in the exercises pulled open the 3rd round (p <0.038), extensor in the 2nd round (p <0.026) and the flexor in the 2nd round (p <0.013). Conclusion. The RPE in the combined exercise in Jiu-Jitsu athletes was higher in the afternoon compared to the morning.
