Mechanisms of the uncomplicated wound healing in patients with ventral hernia

: 84 patients operated on middle ventral hernia with the use of different methots of implantation and types of mesh implants were included in the study. All patients received the thoriugh US-investigation after the operation. The sublay hernia plasty proved to be the best reconstruction method, demonstrating lesser tissue exudation. The onlay plasty should be preserved only for cases of hernioplasty when the use of sublay technique is impossible.
