Investigation on vibration isolation effect of rubber pad floating slab track structure

2011
A mechanical and finite element method(FEM) model of vehicle and track structure coupling system are established. The modal and harmonic analysis are carried out by FEM. The natural frequency and modal shape are presented. The ride comfort and subgrade reaction are dealt with by considering the natural frequency. The influence of vibration isolation effect on system is also described by comparing the ride comfort and subgrade reaction. The result shows that the ride comfort increases, while the subgrade reaction decreases, with increasing stiffness and damping of rubber pad. The conclusion also demonstrates the most suitable stiffness and damping of rubber pad for the practice.
