The invention discloses a carrier communication method and a carrier communication system based on laser loading modulation, and relates to the field of optical carrier communication. The method comprises the following steps: business mixing electrical signals loaded with a modulation code type are input to a sending laser, and the sending laser converts the business mixing electrical signals into optical signals and transmits the optical signals through an optical fiber to a receiving laser; the receiving laser converts the received optical signals into electrical signals and divides the electrical signals into two channels; one channel of electrical signals is amplified in a broadband manner to generate broadband electrical signals, low-frequency electrical signals loaded with a modulation code type are separated and extracted from the broadband electrical signals, and the low-frequency electrical signals are recovered and shaped to get initial loaded modulation code type signals; and the other channel of electrical signals is output normally. Occupation of wavelength is avoided, no additional insertion loss is caused to optical lines, and the transmission distance of optical lines is effectively expanded. The method and the system can also be used in WDM system wavelength tracking, optical carrier communication and other applications, and have a broad prospect for commercial use.
