Design of Digital Image Acquisiton System for Multispectral CCD Cameras

Objective:A digital imageacquisiton system was designed for the multispectrum CCD camera. The system could test the function and performance of the camera by real time displaying ,recording and storing. Method:CPLD and FIFO were used for the pretreatment of image data. PCI based Camlink image recording card combined with Streams 5 recording software implemented the acquisition of large high speed image data.Result: the system could record 4 spectral iamge data at the same time ,and each channel cover 10 bit 3072 pixels .Conclusion: The system run steadily and the performance quietly meet the requirement of the camera. Then the system had been applied in the development of the multispectrum camera.
